Samuel and I have been back home for 5 days. With Luke home we have been able to take our days slowly, spending most of them outside in the sunshine. I've been resting and letting stitches, bruises and general aches heal. The older boys are getting to know their new little brother, Isaac was besotted with him at first sight and loves to hug and kiss his little forehead. Cohen is curious about the new addition but still unsure, and I think missing the attention I was able to give him before the birth. I try each day to spend some time just me and him.
Samuel fits into our family perfectly, as if he has always been here. Easy going, he takes every loud bang, shriek, cry in his stride. He looks intently at toys and enthusiastic faces pushed up close to his. He settles easily and feeds with gusto.
