Autumn in Japan

The beginning of Autumn let itself be known in these parts with cooler days, heavy rain and blusterous winds. A very welcome change to the heat and humidity we had been experiencing just days before. However I discovered a hole in Cohen's winter wardrobe, the little guy has no jumpers in his size. So he was bundled up in one of his big brother's, the sleeves rolled three times. It makes the decision of whose jumper to cast on first a no brainer.

We ventured to Dubbo to do our weekly shop and errand run and when there was a break in the rain we visited the Shoyoen Japanese Gardens.

Feeding the fish is a common request from Isaac and the gardens are almost our little secret, with very few people there when we visit.

We love to stroll around the paths, peer inside the tea house, talk to the fish and ducks and smell the flowers and look at the beautifully trained trees and shrubs. We always discover something new, a path, a secret seat, a pretty rock.

It adds a calm point to a hectic day shopping day.
