Op shopping without the toddler

A very lovely friend of mine offered to look after the boys while I went to Dubbo for a doctors check up. These kind of errands always run better without the presence of two young children.I also managed to sneak in a bit of op shopping. Another task that is much more pleasant without the worries of a toddler running through the crockery section. I was able to pick up a few things that I have been looking out for and a couple of extra lovelies that will be put to good use.

Jars for the pantry, vintage sheet to be turned into picnic blanket, thermos to go with recently thrifted picnic basket, and a brand new basket for stuff.

Linen tea towel for the kitchen, pretty dollie for a project in the planning and snaps for baby clothes.

Sweet Japanese dinner plate. Not sure if it's destiny is the dinner table or to hang on my wall.

 Volleys for Cohen.

Soft flannel receiving blanket with lovely hand embroidered birds and crocheted edging for new baby.

As happy as I am with my goodies I am so happy and grateful to have a friend that allowed some time and who the boys adore.

  2. Some lovely finds. I love the basket. Op-shopping without the little ones is so much easier, as are medical appointments.

You certainly had a successful time. The tea towel is the sweetest.

    1. You definitely should. The Salvos have recently opened another shop, just for furniture & electrical stuff. Hopefully I can get up there soon and see what it's like.
