I'm now at the beginning of the third trimester. The final few months lay ahead and I'm kept awake at night, thinking of what needs to be done before another little person joins our rapidly growing family.
Most afternoons you will find me on the couch, by that time of day back and sciatic pain are almost intolerable. Watching the boys play while I struggle to keep my eyes open, only realising I have drifted off to sleep when I'm snapped back by Cohen squawking or Isaac yelling 'no, bubby!'
Knitting at the moment is the only crafty persuit I seemed to be able to manage. Focusing on the stiches keeps me awake while still able rest and relax and watch the boys. Row upon row of stocking stictch doesn't take to much brain power either, which is a bonus for a foggy minded pregnant lady. 
I know what you mean! Though all I could manage was a simple garter stitch baby blanket! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a serious lack of motivation to do much else but knit lately...it's just far too cold and uninspiring to craft in this chill.
