String of beads
I remember the days before babes when I had an extensive collection of earrings. Shoulder grazing, sparkly and lovely. Now the fear of permanent ear lobe dismemberment has whittle my collection down to a precious few that get let out for special child free occasions (so hardly ever).
My accessory of choice is now a string of chunky beads. Plastic, clay or wood strung on some lovely cotton string. Something that can withstand a chew and a tug from surprisingly strong little hands.
This necklace I made over the weekend from beads found at the op-shop and yellow hemp twine from Spotlight. Simply strung and knotted.
