Lately the urge to get creative has been so fierce yet the demands of motherhood and family are pulling stronger. I must remind myself to make the most of those quite moments.
Time at my sewing machine has been very little these past few months. Only able to sit down for half an hour some evenings. Projects need to be simple and quick, doable over small chunks of time.
Whilst it might not have been the most demanding of projects, sewing up these little capes not only provide me with a much needed outlet but also filled my heart with so much joy as I watched my boys fly around the backyard today, having fun in something that I had created, just for them.
