My first outing into the world of natural dyes. Tumeric is an easy one to start out with I think. Everything I needed was in my pantry, no need for foraging. I followed this how to from petalplum.
So satisfiying and pretty. And I do plan to leave it hanging in the lounge room, for a day or two at least, and marvel at its goldenness.
Wow such a vibrant colour. I may have to add trying out natural dying to my list for 2014.
